Pico Risco

Pico Risco   24" X 18". Oil on Canvas.

Another goal of mine is to use my skills to create beautiful paintings. Paintings that maintain my personal style and artistic finger print. Paintings that I hope will speak to all and inspire us to be better stewards of this planet. Making our focus not so much on money, but more about natural beauty. Doing what is right and best for the planet first above all else. So that we might preserve this garden rather than continue to ravage it.

Until we can put the greater good of our planet above our own personal needs, wants and desires, humankind will remain a plague on the earth. And be remembered as the destroyers of worlds rather than good stewards and caretakers.

Documenting, remembering and illuminating places that deserve our respect, honor and protection. We must be made aware of these beautiful places to insure we maintain them and the glory and majesty of this planet as long as it exists.

How do you want to be remembered?

Pico Risco is a beautiful classic desert peak in northern Baja, Mexico. I am considering doing a limited edition print of this piece. If I do I will also donate a percent of proceeds to organizations like the Sierra Club that work to promote and protect nature.
